VYPE: Reagan, what’s special about this team to you?
Reagan Greenroyd: I love how close we are outside of basketball. Our off-court chemistry is through the roof.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
RG: Alan Price inspires me. I long for his giving heart and not being afraid to simply be himself. His happiness is so easy to join in on.
VYPE: What are you looking forward to the most the season as a senior and what position are you playing?
RG: I’m most looking forward to the simple things like talking to people after games and enjoying the support and company of our community. I play shooting guard.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
RG: My favorite subject is history, and my favorite teacher is Mr. Ward who was my 8th grade pre-algebra teacher.
VYPE: Tell us your favorite memory as a student-athlete at NHS.
RG: I have many, but one of my favorites was the team retreat my freshman year when we competed in games and did team bonding activities all night.
VYPE: Are you involved in any other clubs or groups at school?
RG: I am a member of the National Honor Society.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing with your free time?
RG: I enjoy talking to my siblings and parents, hanging out with Alan, and working out.
VYPE: Which teammate is the most vocal and who keeps everyone laughing?
RG: On the court, Kalani is the most vocal. Ziyah makes everyone laugh, including Jim.
VYPE: What are your plans for life after high school?
RG: I plan on attending college and continuing playing basketball. I’m leaning towards majoring in exercise science.
