TUTTLE TIGERS
Coach: JETT JOBE
2024-25 Record: 7-20
OUTLOOK
The promise of a good basketball season is within reach for the Tigers of Tuttle High School. Coach Jett Jobe enters his second season at the helm and fields a team that has the potential to make some waves this season.
“We bring all but one guy back from last year. We played several sophomores and freshman last that got a ton of playing time and experience. We saw growth last year and finished strong. We had a decent summer with missing a few guys to football but look to have a better year,” coach Jobe said.
Donnie Schluter (5-10, So.) returns after averaging 10 points and 1.4 steals per game as a freshman. Schluter was the second leading scorer and will likely be the focal point on offense.
“He can get downhill on his drives and finish as well as capable of hitting his outside shots. He grew a lot as a teammate last year in trusting the other guys and not doing it all by himself,” coach Jobe said.
Maddox Wilson (5-10, Sr.) is another guard who averaged 6.0 points with 3.0 assists a year ago. Wilson will help lead this offense alongside Ty Hendon (5-11, Sr.) and Carson Banks (5-9, Jr.). The upperclassmen are hungry for a memorable season on the court. Also look for Jett Price (6-0, Jr.) to be in the mix as well.
If it’s size you’re looking for then be sure to check out Slate Snider (6-3, Jr.) and Noah Neasbit (6-5, Jr.). Both play forward and give the Tigers a presence in the paint.
Other players to watch include Logan Garrison (5-9, Sr.), Major Vanderburg (5-11, Jr.), Kayden Tippett (5-9, Jr.), Gage Groff (5-7, So.), Ayden Phillips (5-9, So.), Rylan Williams (5-11, So.) Brandt Howard (5-9, So.), Deacon Raymond (5-9, So.), and Brody Velletta (6-2, Fr.).
