VYPE: Jada, what position are you playing on the varsity volleyball team at Blanchard High School?
Jada Schneringer: My position is right back DS.
VYPE: What’s been the biggest surprise this season?
JS: The biggest surprise for me this season was being able to come back after an ankle injury so quickly to play in regionals with my team.
VYPE: What do you love most about this team and your teammates?
JS: I just love the vibes that everybody brings before the games during the games just all the fun that we have.
VYPE: Tell us your favorite moment so far this season.
JS: My favorite moment(s) this year was all the hype before the games and at the Tuttle tournament when I had the most saves I’ve ever gotten.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
JS: My mom inspires me. She’s always been a hard worker and she’s so resilient and I want to be like her more and more every day.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
JS: My favorite subject in school has always been English or reading because I’ve always been good at it. My favorite teacher was my Algebra 2 teacher during my sophomore year, Mr. Coplen.
VYPE: What clubs or groups are you involved with at BHS?
JS: At school, I belong to NHS and SADD which are both very good organizations that help teens grow.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
JS: In my free time I enjoy doing crafts or just chilling by myself or with family and friends.
VYPE: Which teammate is the most vocal and who keeps everyone laughing?
JS: Hailey Haxton is definitely the most vocal and she keeps everyone laughing all the time.
She’s the hype and vibes for the team and such a great person to be around.
VYPE: What is the strength of your game and what have you improve on the most?
JS: The strength of my game is how I brush mistakes off and reset myself and something I’m working to improve is my reaction time and my movement for the ball
