Blanchard boys basketball returns a motivated group with the talent and depth to make a significant push this season. Head coach Jeff Word trusts the experience and mental toughness of his returning guards who anchor both offensive rhythm and defensive intensity.
These guards understand how to control the pace generate clean looks and handle pressure in tight moments. Their willingness to compete on defense and attack on offense gives the Lions the heartbeat of their system. They will be essential in executing the fast but controlled style Bryan prefers. Jaxon Oliver (5-6, Sr.) and Press Lippoldt (6-4, Sr.) are two players coach Bryan will depend on for quality minutes this year. Oliver was good for 10 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals from his guard spot while Lippoldt drained 15 points, grabbed six rebounds and added three blocked shots.
