VYPE: Jackson, what grade are you in and what position do you play for the baseball team?
Jackson Johnson: I’m a senior and I play pitcher and center field.
VYPE: What accomplishment on the field are the proudest of during your career at THS?
JJ: Winning a state championship starting as a freshman.
VYPE: What has the sport taught you that makes you a better person?
JJ: Don’t give up till it’s over.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
JJ: My mom because when we didn’t have much, she made sure I did.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
JJ: Hunter Edge because it helps me to be humble and be blessed with the ability to play the game I love.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
JJ: It’s just title town baby.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
JJ: Put your trust in the Lord.

JJ: I look up to John Jones.
